  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • 2 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two round cake pans with parchment paper.

  6. Divide batter between prepared pans and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow cakes to cool in pans for ten minutes before transferring them to wire racks.
