  • 1 pound flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot (julienned)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients: slice the flank steak against the grain, julienne the carrot, slice the bell pepper, and chop green onions.
  2. Marinate the steak with cornstarch for about 10 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add marinated steak and stir-fry until browned (3-4 minutes). Set aside.
  4. In the same wok, sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds. Add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot; stir-fry until tender-crisp (3-4 minutes).
  5. Return steak to the wok along with shrimp; add soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink (about 3-4 minutes).
  6. Serve hot garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
