  • 340g ground beef
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 medium onion (grated)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • Fresh herbs: parsley and mint
  • 4 large potatoes (cut into wedges)
  • 2 cups tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Drizzle olive oil in a large baking dish.
  2. Place potato wedges in the baking dish, season with oregano, salt, and pepper, and toss to coat.
  3. Pour tomato sauce mixed with water over the potatoes. Bake for about 30 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, grated onion, minced garlic, parsley, mint, cumin, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Shape the mixture into oval meatballs and set aside.
  6. After baking the potatoes for 30 minutes, add the meatballs on top of them and return to the oven for another 50–60 minutes or until cooked through.
