- 5 uncooked Italian sausages
- 2 bell peppers (red & green), sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sear the sausages for 2-3 minutes until browned. Transfer to the slow cooker.
- Layer sliced onions and bell peppers on top of the sausages and sprinkle with seasonings.
- Pour marinara sauce over the mixture.
- Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours until cooked through.
