  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • ½ Head Cabbage (chopped)
  • 8 Cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger (minced)
  • ⅓ Cup Green Onions (diced)
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • ½ Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar Swerve
  • ½ Cup Soy Sauce (low-sodium)
  • ¼ Cup Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 Cup Beef Broth
  • 3 Tsp Cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Push beef to one side of the skillet, add garlic and ginger to the center, cooking for about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add chopped cabbage and red pepper flakes, cooking for an additional 5 minutes until softened.
  5. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and brown sugar swerve.
  6. In another bowl, combine cornstarch with beef broth until dissolved. Add to the sauce mixture.
  7. Pour the sauce over beef and cabbage in the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  8. Stir in green onions and serve hot.
