- 1 lb Ground Beef
- ½ Head Cabbage (chopped)
- 8 Cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 Tbsp Ginger (minced)
- ⅓ Cup Green Onions (diced)
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- ½ Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar Swerve
- ½ Cup Soy Sauce (low-sodium)
- ¼ Cup Hoisin Sauce
- 1 Cup Beef Broth
- 3 Tsp Cornstarch
- Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Push beef to one side of the skillet, add garlic and ginger to the center, cooking for about 1-2 minutes.
- Add chopped cabbage and red pepper flakes, cooking for an additional 5 minutes until softened.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and brown sugar swerve.
- In another bowl, combine cornstarch with beef broth until dissolved. Add to the sauce mixture.
- Pour the sauce over beef and cabbage in the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Stir in green onions and serve hot.
