  • 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta according to package directions in a large pot of salted water. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook turkey bacon until crispy; crumble and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Add onion and garlic until softened.
  4. Mix in heavy cream, beef broth, ketchup, and mustard; simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Toss in drained pasta; mix with sauce until coated. Add cheddar and mozzarella until melted.
  6. Stir in crumbled turkey bacon; season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve immediately while hot.
