  • 2 tbsp Dutch cocoa powder (optional)
  • 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup water or milk of choice
  • 1/3 cup granulated erythritol
  • 3 eggs or flax eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup sugar-free chocolate syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together almond flour, cocoa powders, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add water (or milk), erythritol, eggs (or flax eggs), and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 16 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Cool completely before using a toothpick to poke holes in the cake.
  6. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top, allowing it to seep into the holes.
