  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by washing the broccoli and cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef for about 5–7 minutes, draining excess fat.
  3. Add the broccoli, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes; cook for another 5–7 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream. Mix in half of the cheddar cheese until combined. Top with remaining cheese, cover, and let sit for 2–3 minutes until melted.
