  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 8 ounces raspberries

  1. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and 1 cup of sugar. Heat over medium heat until dissolved (5-7 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract; let cool completely.
  2. Blend raspberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar; strain through a fine mesh sieve to get smooth puree.
  3. Pour cooled cream base into an ice cream maker; churn until soft serve consistency.
  4. Divide the churned mixture; mix one part with orange juice and the other with lime juice (add food coloring if desired).
  5. Layer the mixtures in a container by alternating colors and freeze for 4-6 hours until firm.
