Homemade Lemonade is the ultimate thirst-quencher for any occasion, from sunny picnics to festive gatherings. This simple yet delightful drink combines the bright, zesty flavor of freshly squeezed lemons with the natural sweetness of raw honey, creating a refreshing beverage that’s perfect for summer days or year-round enjoyment.

  • 6 cups water (divided)
  • 1/3 cup raw honey
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (approximately 46 large lemons)
  • Fruit for variations (strawberries, blueberries, peaches, raspberries)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing pitcher, combine 4 cups of water with the raw honey and stir until dissolved.
  2. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and the remaining 2 cups of water; mix well.
  3. For flavored lemonades: Blend desired fruits until smooth, strain for juice, and mix into 2 cups of base lemonade.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving over ice.
