  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3/4 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 ounces semisweet or German chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, melt the butter and stir in brown sugar until well combined. Let cool for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually incorporate flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in shredded coconut, chopped pecans, and chocolate chunks.
  6. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
