  • 1¾ cups pre-shredded mozzarella
  • ¾ cup almond meal/flour
  • 2 tbsp natural unsweetened yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 191°C/375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mozzarella, almond flour, and yogurt. Microwave for 1 minute; stir and microwave again for another 30 seconds until fully melted.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the egg with baking powder. Fold this mixture into the melted cheese dough using a silicone spatula or spoon.
  4. Divide the dough into 10 equal portions and shape each into an oval about 8mm thick on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  6. For the garlic butter topping, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and chopped parsley in a small bowl; brush over baked naan and return to the oven for another 1-2 minutes.
