  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup black cocoa powder
  • (3.4oz) box instant chocolate fudge pudding mix (unprepared)
  • 2 tablespoons powdered milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup salted butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 additional large egg yolk (room temperature)
  • 2 ounces whole milk (room temperature)
  • 1½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup Reese's Pieces (plus more for topping)
  • ¾ cup Reese's Peanut Butter Chips (plus more for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, whole milk, vanilla extract, and salt using an electric mixer until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powders, instant pudding mix, powdered milk, baking soda, and granulated sugar.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
  5. Add eggs and mix until just incorporated.
  6. Gently fold in Reese's Pieces and Peanut Butter Chips.
  7. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets with enough space between each scoop.
  8. Bake for about 10 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
