  • generous pinch of mineral salt
  • 1 cup (225g) vegan butter, at room temp (I love Miyokos)
  • 1 cup (225g) organic pure cane sugar
  • 1/4 cup (56g) unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons organic pure cane sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together vegan butter and sugar until smooth. Stir in applesauce and vanilla extract.
