- 3 cups 1:1 gluten-free flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons instant dry yeast
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 large egg
- For the glaze: 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour, sugar, instant dry yeast, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Pour into the dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.
- Cover the dough with a towel and let it rise in a warm location for about 30 minutes until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thick on a floured surface. Cut into donut shapes using a donut cutter.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Brush each donut with melted butter before placing them in the basket.
- Cook donuts in batches for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth; dip each donut in the glaze before serving.
